Ophthalmology Surgical Sales Representative

About the role
AMICO is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to promote its ophthalmology‑surgical product portfolio across Oman. You will work directly with surgeons, clinical staff and healthcare facilities to drive product adoption, manage orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the ophthalmic surgical market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses and procurement teams.
- Present product features, conduct equipment demonstrations and provide technical support during installation and start‑up.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, action plans and regular performance reports.
- Participate in conferences, workshops and promotional events to increase brand visibility.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, reporting insights to management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy or a related field.
- 1‑3 years of experience in medical device or surgical product sales; fresh graduates with strong selling aptitude are also considered.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Proven ability to build persuasive relationships and achieve sales targets.
Required skills
- Proficiency with surgical microscopes.
- Hands‑on experience in phacoemulsification procedures.
- Knowledge of various intraocular lenses (IOLs).
