Bar & Restaurant Manager – Rooftop Venue

About the role

The Bar & Restaurant Manager will lead the Vue Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, a high‑profile venue offering panoramic views of the Hajar Mountains. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, you will ensure seamless operations across the restaurant, bar and lounge areas while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar and lounge, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness and stock levels.
• Recruit, train, schedule and develop a multidisciplinary team of front‑of‑house staff.
• Manage budgets, departmental targets, monthly stock takes and cost controls.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and stewarding teams to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain and update the outlet’s SOP manual and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
• Participate in regular Food & Beverage meetings and contribute to menu development.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing restaurant and bar operations in a hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, inventory control and quality standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Experience with stock management and cost control.
• Ability to train and motivate staff.
