Bar Supervisor - Seasonal

About the role

The Bar Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the hotel bar, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest experience. This seasonal role supports the Assistant Restaurant Manager and acts as an ambassador for Mandarin Oriental Muscat.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise bar service and coordinate daily bar activities.
• Provide backup for the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
• Set up the bar for all meal periods and maintain service stations according to MEP standards.
• Manage shift start and finish times for bar staff.
• Handle billing procedures and banqueting equipment.
• Attend daily meetings and mandatory training sessions.
• Ensure correct quality, presentation, and delivery of all drinks.
• Perform administrative tasks and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Act as a hotel ambassador and uphold the hotel’s zero‑tolerance policy on harassment and discrimination.
