Concrete Batching Plant Mechanic

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Concrete Batching Plant Mechanic to join our team at OMANMIX in Masqat, Oman. You will be responsible for keeping our high‑capacity batching plant operating smoothly, ensuring reliable concrete production for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of batching plant machinery, equipment, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with plant operators and production teams to schedule work and support efficient operations.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to guarantee plant reliability.

Required profile

• Experience with operation and maintenance of concrete batching plants and heavy equipment.
• Understanding of Ready Mix Concrete production processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to formwork and flatwork.
• Basic carpentry skills for equipment repairs.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and workplace compliance.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training; experience in the concrete production industry is highly preferred.
