Door Attendant – Guest Services (Omani Only)

About the role

The Door Attendant provides a warm welcome and assists guests throughout their stay at our Al Mouj property in Muscat. This front‑line position ensures smooth arrivals, departures, and guest movements while upholding Marriott’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their rooms, opening doors and providing orientation.
• Inform guests about property amenities, services, operating hours, and local attractions.
• Explain room features such as key usage, mini‑bar, in‑room safe, and laundry services.
• Transport luggage to and from guest rooms or designated bell areas, and assist with storage and retrieval.
• Assist guests with vehicle entry and exit, loading/unloading luggage, and arrange transportation (taxi, shuttle, limousine).
• Communicate parking procedures and provide directions as needed.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to company policies, reporting any safety concerns.
• Support guests with disabilities and ensure a courteous, respectful interaction at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or jog for extended periods and navigate stairs or ramps.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English.
