Enterprise Data Architecture & Platform Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior Enterprise Data Architecture & Platform Lead to drive a bank‑wide data transformation. The role blends strategic architecture, hands‑on implementation and deep banking domain knowledge to deliver scalable, secure and business‑focused data capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture, establishing principles for storage, processing, integration and consumption.
• Assess the current data landscape, identify gaps and design the target state using data‑warehouse, data‑lake, lakehouse and medallion patterns.
• Provide technical direction for data discovery, profiling, metadata, lineage and data‑quality remediation.
• Lead the creation of enterprise and domain‑level banking data models, ensuring reuse across products, accounts, transactions and risk domains.
• Translate architecture principles into practical standards, review technical designs and balance scalability, security, cost and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering or data platforms.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience with banking or financial‑services data.
• Proven track record leading a large‑scale data modernization from architecture through implementation.
• Strong banking‑domain knowledge across customers, accounts, loans, cards, payments, risk, KYC/AML and related systems.
• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders in a regulated environment.
