Interior Designer – Sales

About the role

CASALUX is seeking an Interior Designer – Sales to be the front‑line representative for every client visiting the luxury tile and porcelain showroom in Muscat. The role blends creative interior‑design expertise with full‑cycle sales ownership, guiding clients from concept through to a signed order and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients with a premium, personalised experience aligned with the CASALUX brand.
• Conduct structured discovery conversations to capture project type, style preferences, budget and timeline.
• Present curated Italian and Spanish collections by design story rather than price.
• Translate client requirements into complete tile and porcelain concepts, including material selection, formats, finishes, colour palettes and layout patterns.
• Prepare mood boards, sample boards, 2D layouts and 3D visualisations using SketchUp, 3ds Max, AutoCAD or equivalent.
• Take or verify site measurements, calculate quantities with wastage and cutting allowances, and produce detailed material schedules.
• Advise on technical suitability such as slip resistance, thickness, rectified edges, large‑format handling and installation requirements.
• Own the full sales cycle – proposal, quotation, negotiation within approved pricing authority and closing.

Required profile

• Strong interior‑design knowledge with the ability to develop tailored tile solutions.
• Commercial mindset and experience managing the end‑to‑end sales process.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultation and coordination with architects, designers or contractors.
• Detail‑oriented approach to measurements, quantity calculations and material specifications.
