Junior Collections Accountant

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate recognition of receivables, revenue, and billing in strict accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage and report on collections, ensuring timely cash inflows.
• Develop and implement effective financial policies to optimize revenue and debt processes.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and prepare detailed internal financial reports.
• Collaborate closely with debt collection agencies to manage outstanding accounts.
• Support the Revenue and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to ensure balance sheet compliance.

Candidate Profile

• 0-2 years of professional experience in debt collection and revenue accounting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of rigor, precision, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Revenue Accounting and IFRS.
• Financial Reporting and Bank Reconciliation.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
