Lighting & Smart Home Design Engineer (Low-Voltage)

About the role

CASALUX Luxury Showroom is seeking a Lighting & Smart Home Design Engineer to lead low‑voltage lighting design and smart‑home integration for client projects and the showroom itself. You will translate interior concepts into lighting schemes, plan circuits, specify LED drivers and control systems, and create a seamless smart‑home ecosystem that links lighting, curtains, climate, audio, security and scenes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lighting concepts for residential, hospitality and commercial spaces, defining layers, colour temperature, CRI, lux levels and glare control.
• Select luminaires, LED strips, profiles and decorative fittings from the showroom’s brand portfolio.
• Produce mood boards, renders and visualisations using DIALux, Relux, SketchUp, 3ds Max or equivalent.
• Design complete smart‑home solutions covering lighting control, motorised curtains, HVAC, multi‑room audio, video intercom, access control, CCTV, sensors and energy monitoring.
• Define system architecture (wired vs wireless, KNX, Zigbee, Wi‑Fi, RF, Matter), create schematics, device schedules and wiring diagrams.
• Deliver technical drawings and documentation for contractors and coordinate with electrical and ELV design teams.
• Collaborate with interior designers and sales to present solutions and support projects from concept to commissioning.

Required profile

• Engineer with a strong design eye for light and solid technical command of low‑voltage LED systems and smart‑home automation.
• Ability to work closely with interior designers and sales teams to translate concepts into executable solutions.
