Loss Prevention Manager

About the role

The Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for safeguarding the property, assets, guests, and employees. This role oversees daily security operations, ensures compliance with legal and safety standards, and drives initiatives that enhance guest and employee satisfaction while meeting budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security and loss‑prevention operations, including patrols, emergency response, and investigations.
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments, quarterly OSHA/Safety audits, and incident tracking.
• Develop and maintain shutdown procedures, key‑control guidelines, and monthly equipment checklists for CCTV, alarmed doors, and duress alarms.
• Oversee the Accident Prevention Committee, first‑aid program, and claims process for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation.
• Handle complaints, dispute resolution, and grievance negotiations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Engineering on fire‑prevention programs and emergency preparedness.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of security/loss‑prevention experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Criminal Justice with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to train staff, conduct investigations, and communicate safety protocols effectively.
