Planning Manager – Offshore Projects

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead the preparation of techno‑commercial proposals, cost estimates and tender submissions for offshore oil & gas, EPCIC, and renewable energy projects. This role works closely with engineering, procurement, construction and commercial teams to deliver competitive, accurate bids that meet client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Review ITT, RFQ and RFP documents and analyse client requirements, scope and contractual terms.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to gather technical data and develop bid execution strategies.
• Prepare and lead bid clarification meetings and client interactions.
• Ensure timely submission of technical and commercial proposals.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for offshore fabrication, installation, hook‑up, commissioning and EPC works.
• Calculate material quantities, manpower loading and productivity rates.
• Estimate costs for fabrication, marine spread, transportation and construction activities.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Proven experience preparing techno‑commercial proposals for offshore oil & gas, EPCIC or renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation for offshore fabrication, installation and commissioning.
• Ability to coordinate engineering, procurement, planning and construction teams.
• Familiarity with tender documentation and client interaction processes.
