Recreation Supervisor – Resort

About the role

The Recreation Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the resort’s recreation facilities, including the Kids Club and Health Club, ensuring a safe, clean and memorable experience for guests at Jumeirah Muscat Bay.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the Kids Club, Health Club and other recreation areas, maintaining Jumeirah standards for safety, hygiene and service.
• Create staff rosters, provide training and coaching, and monitor performance to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver age‑appropriate activities, fitness programmes and special events in line with the resort’s activity calendar.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, ensuring maintenance, health‑and‑safety and security procedures are followed.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests and complaints, offering personalised solutions and escalating issues when required.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, inventory and operational reports, and support revenue‑generating initiatives through promotion of recreation programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing recreation or leisure facilities within a hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on delivering high‑quality guest experiences.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and execute diverse activity programmes.
• Good knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards applicable to leisure facilities.
