Seasonal Hostess – Food & Beverage

About the role

The hotel is seeking a Seasonal Hostess to join its Food & Beverage team in Muscat. You will be the first point of contact for guests, managing reservations, welcoming patrons and ensuring a seamless dining experience. This role supports the outlet’s service standards while promoting the hotel’s luxury brand.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the outlet’s concept, menu and beverage offerings and communicate them to guests.
• Handle phone, email and online reservations, record details accurately in the reservation system, and reconfirm bookings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date table counts, schedule seating arrangements with management and adjust availability in real time.
• Welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and provide directions to other hotel areas when needed.
• Ensure menus are current, clean and correctly displayed.
• Recommend and up‑sell initial beverage selections and relay orders to the appropriate waitstaff.
• Process billing tasks in line with hotel cashiering policies.
• Address guest comments or complaints and escalate unresolved issues to the Outlet Manager.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail for reservation handling and table management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the service team and management.
• Flexibility to work seasonal hours in a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation and booking software.
