Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer ensures effective implementation of work and outage management processes across the cluster, driving continuous improvement and cost‑driven value creation. The role focuses on optimizing maintenance strategies, inventory, and digitalization to position the fleet in the top global quartile.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report cluster KPIs, prepare action plans, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Implement and oversee maintenance planning, outage management, and critical asset preventive maintenance according to corporate guidelines.
• Lead project mobilization, lifecycle maintenance planning, and CMMS master data preparation for new builds.
• Manage maintenance budgets, track cost variances, and drive financial improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7‑10 years of experience in the power/utilities sector, with strong O&M background.
• Proven performance‑management and monitoring experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments and understand the business value chain.
