Supervisor – Loss Prevention

About the role

The Supervisor – Loss Prevention is responsible for safeguarding the property, its guests, and assets through proactive security measures, emergency response, and strict access control. This full‑time, onsite position reports to management and works closely with the hospitality team to ensure a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and monitor access points.
• Conduct emergency‑response drills, daily safety inspections, investigations and key‑control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured zones.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, provide first aid/CPR and coordinate with EMS.
• Prepare incident reports, maintain confidentiality and release information only to authorized personnel.
• Defuse disturbances, enforce company policies, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and respond to alarms using proper code procedures.
• Support management in training, coaching and upholding the Open Door Policy.

Required profile

• Ability to conduct investigations, interviews and produce accurate written reports.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, run and lift objects up to 50 lb unassisted (75 lb with assistance).
• Strong communication skills, professional appearance and adherence to confidentiality.
• Capability to handle emergency situations, administer first aid and coordinate with emergency services.
