Business Tax Manager – Tax & Legal (Oman)

About the role

Deloitte Middle East is seeking a Business Tax Manager to lead a team delivering tax advisory and compliance services across a diverse client base. You will work closely with corporations operating in multiple jurisdictions, ensuring they remain compliant while optimizing their tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding business needs and providing tailored tax solutions.
• Lead client meetings, presenting tax insights and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee preparation and review of complex corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with local and international tax laws.
• Provide expert advice on a broad range of tax issues, including corporate tax, indirect tax, and cross‑border matters.
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering development and high‑quality delivery.
• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated, commercially sound solutions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex tax concepts clearly.
