Country Head – Ship Agency (Oman/Qatar)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Country Head to lead our Ship Agency operations across Oman and Qatar. This senior position carries full P&L responsibility and requires a strategic mindset to drive growth, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall Ship Agency business with complete P&L accountability.
• Lead and oversee operations across 3–4 group companies within the country.
• Drive business development, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Ensure seamless vessel operations, agency services, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, principals, port authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cross‑functional teams to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
• Monitor financial performance, optimise costs, and implement strategic initiatives to improve profitability.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in Ship Agency or the maritime industry with P&L responsibility.
• Strong commercial acumen and operational expertise in vessel agency services.
• Experience managing multi‑company or multi‑business operations (preferred).
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and business development skills.
