DevOps Trainer – 1 Year Contract, Relocate to Oman

About the role

Introduct Academy, the training arm of Introduct Group, is seeking an experienced DevOps Trainer to lead an intensive, hands‑on training program in Oman. The position is a 1‑year fixed‑term contract and includes relocation support. You will work directly with groups of students and early‑career professionals, delivering both theory and practical sessions focused on modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and continuously improve DevOps‑focused curricula, including lectures, labs and self‑study assignments.
• Prepare and regularly update training materials to reflect current industry standards and local market needs.
• Deliver on‑site lectures, practical workshops and live demonstrations of CI/CD pipelines, containerization and cloud automation.
• Explain DevOps concepts, tools and processes in a clear, structured manner.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and mentor alumni through the Shadow Engineer program.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or related infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and a genuine interest in teaching.
• Excellent English communication skills sufficient for classroom instruction.
