Estimator & Quantity Surveyor – Joinery & Woodwork

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Estimator and Quantity Surveyor to join our joinery and woodwork team in Muscat. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, material take‑offs and bills of quantities for a variety of projects across hospitality, residential, commercial and healthcare sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural, interior design and shop drawings to extract quantities and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations and cost breakdowns for tender submissions.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor offers and coordinate with procurement to achieve optimal pricing.
• Update budgets and cost reports in response to design changes or site instructions.
• Monitor project costs, prepare variation orders and support value‑engineering initiatives from pre‑contract to completion.

Required profile

• Strong experience in estimation and quantity surveying for joinery and woodwork.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, ID and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of local and regional market rates for timber, hardware and finishes.
• Effective communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Previous experience in a joinery/fit‑out environment within the GCC.
