Finance Manager (CFO) – Mandarin Speaker for Greenfield Plant

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager at CFO level to lead the financial function of a new greenfield manufacturing plant in Oman. The role will span the construction phase through to full‑scale operations, requiring strategic oversight and hands‑on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑management plans aligned with plant objectives.
• Oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with IAS/IFRS, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage construction‑phase finances, monitor fund utilisation, control costs, track ROI and design internal control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, supply‑chain, production, legal and external advisors to align financial arrangements with project milestones.
• Build and lead a local finance team, drive digitisation and standardisation of finance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Audit or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing or asset‑heavy industries.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English; Arabic an advantage.
• Proven GCC regional experience and strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS.
