Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Financial Accountant to join our finance team. In this position you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, analyze variances and summarize financial trends.
• Compile quarterly and annual financial reports, validating data for accuracy.
• Respond to internal and external financial inquiries with clear analysis and interpretation.
• Generate special reports, budgets and forecasts based on variance analysis.
• Process accounts payable, verify invoices and ensure timely payments according to company policy.
• Maintain accounts receivable, issue invoices, monitor balances and follow up on overdue items.
• Reconcile AP and AR ledgers, resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with cash flow management by monitoring receivable and payable cash movements.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits and respond to audit requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
