About the role
GKSV Consultancy seeks a skilled Heavy Truck Automatic Transmission Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and reassemble automatic transmission systems on heavy trucks operating in Oman.
Key responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble heavy‑truck automatic transmissions.
- Inspect and accurately measure transmission components.
- Diagnose faults and perform component repairs.
- Program and calibrate transmission control units.
- Carry out clutch adaptation after repairs.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience repairing heavy‑truck automatic transmissions.
- Proven ability to diagnose transmission faults.
- Hands‑on experience with complete transmission disassembly and assembly.
- Strong measurement and inspection skills.
- Experience in transmission programming, calibration, and clutch adaptation.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Indian nationality is preferred.
