IT Assurance and Compliance Specialist

About the role

Jobs for Humanity is a fast‑growing digital transformation consulting firm operating across the Middle East. The IT Assurance and Compliance Specialist will lead audits, drive assurance processes and ensure IT controls meet regulatory and client standards. This role reports to the Head of IT Governance and works closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all IT audits, act as point of contact for audit escalations and ensure findings are closed.
• Perform periodic technology assurance reviews, assess control effectiveness and present risk‑ranked results to senior leadership.
• Drive automation of assurance processes, develop common methodologies and standard work programs.
• Prepare and review assurance reports, conduct root‑cause analysis and align recommendations with internal standards.
• Lead execution of comprehensive assurance plans, manage team utilization and ensure engagements stay on time and within budget.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, provide insights to IT Governance, and monitor remediation action plans.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of experience in IT audit, risk assessment, SOX or technology assurance.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT or PMP preferred.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with ability to solve complex technology issues.
• Experience in fast‑paced environments, managing multiple priorities and leading teams.

Required skills

• CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, PMP certifications.
• Knowledge of control frameworks: CoBIT, PCI‑DSS, COSO, ISO 27001, SOX.
• Proficiency in IT systems, general computer controls, cybersecurity and continuous control monitoring.
• Experience with control automation and data analysis for risk assessment.
