Maintenance Technician (Omani National)

About the role

KONE is seeking Omani nationals to join its maintenance team across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. As a Maintenance Technician you will ensure the safety, reliability and performance of elevator equipment while delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships through proactive on‑site communication and accurate reporting.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, call‑outs and unplanned service repairs.
• Identify site risks, take immediate corrective action and follow escalation procedures.
• Maintain equipment safety and performance standards.
• Report work performed in real time and submit timesheets.
• Keep service tools, van and instruments in good condition.
• Provide regular updates to the supervisor and raise sales opportunities.

Required profile

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Automation engineering (or equivalent).
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Basic IT and digital foundation skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; a valid driving licence is an advantage.
