Part‑Time Food & Beverage Server (Omani National)

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is seeking a motivated Omani national to join its Food & Beverage team as a part‑time server. You will be the face of the outlet, delivering attentive service while upholding the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Explain the outlet’s concept, menu and beverage offerings to guests.
• Complete mise en place and cleaning tasks before and during service.
• Operate the POS system to process orders, payments and gift cards.
• Upsell products and services to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Ensure dishes are presented according to hotel standards.
• Maintain equipment and utensils in good condition.
• Assist with stock handling, including linen, beverages and dry goods.
• Communicate guest preferences or allergies to kitchen and management.
• Support other outlets as directed by the Restaurant/Outlet Manager.

Required profile

• Omani national, able to work part‑time shifts.
• Friendly, courteous and efficient service attitude.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to keep it up‑to‑date.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow hotel standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
