Pharmacist – Muscat, Oman (Omani National)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Muscat, Oman. The role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and requires a valid pharmacy license or eligibility letter. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health authority regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all statutory and professional duties of a registered pharmacist, including licence validity checks and adherence to dispensing regulations.
• Maintain the highest professional standards for counter prescribing and medicines protocol implementation.
• Protect confidentiality of customer and staff information in line with data protection legislation.
• Monitor stock expiries and prevent the sale of expired items.
• Prepare credit‑card reports and cash deposits to meet timely deposit requirements.
• Submit insurance claims and documentation within required timeframes.

Required profile

• University degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working as a pharmacist.
• Current health‑authority licensure and a valid pharmacy license or eligibility letter.
• Omani nationality (as indicated in the title).
