Physiotherapist – Muscat, Oman

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join a leading healthcare provider in Muscat, Oman. The role combines traditional hands‑on physiotherapy with cutting‑edge robotic‑assisted rehabilitation to support patients recovering from neurological and orthopedic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mobility, strength, range of motion and functional abilities.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate conventional physiotherapy techniques and robotic therapy devices.
• Monitor, adjust and document robotic therapy protocols according to patient progress and tolerance.
• Collaborate with biomedical engineers and equipment vendors to optimise therapy outcomes and report any technical issues.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions for stroke, spinal cord injury, post‑surgical orthopaedic cases, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease and post‑COVID rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programmes and post‑discharge care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) with a valid professional licence.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience, preferably in neuro‑rehabilitation or robotic‑assisted therapy.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
