Principal Investor Relations Lead

About the role

The Principal Investor Relations Lead will shape and execute OQEP's Investor Relations and Stakeholder Management strategy. Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, you will serve as the trusted interface between OQEP and its investors, bondholders, analysts, rating agencies, and other capital‑market stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain transparent, value‑adding relationships with the investment community.
• Lead capital‑market disclosures, investor targeting programs, roadshows, analyst outreach and rating‑agency engagement.
• Provide senior leadership with strategic insight on market sentiment, peer positioning, share‑price drivers and investor expectations.
• Translate complex financial, operational and ESG information into clear, credible messaging.
• Support the preparation of financial plans, budgets and OPEX/CAPEX reporting.
• Identify and mitigate business and financial risks while staying current on regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in investor relations, capital‑markets or corporate finance.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with senior investors, analysts and rating agencies.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret financial data and ESG narratives.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business units and influence senior leadership.
