Senior Associate - International Legal and Corporate Transactions

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to support OIA’s legal interests across local and international transactions. The role involves structuring, negotiating and executing deals while providing legal analysis on asset management, corporate governance and related matters for OIA and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate transactional documents, contracts and legal advice in collaboration with deal teams.
• Provide day-to-day legal assessments, interpretations and recommendations to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Identify legal risks, propose alternatives and recommend solutions to achieve OIA’s objectives.
• Conduct legal due diligence for fund investments, M&A, joint ventures, private direct and public market transactions.
• Select, engage and manage external counsel, controlling costs and service quality.
• Support daily operations of the legal team and drive projects that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement legal strategies that accelerate commercial goals of OIA and its subsidiaries.
• Assist in creating policies and guidelines to promote best-practice corporate governance.

Required profile

• LLB (Bachelor’s degree in Law) required; Master’s degree in Law or a specialized legal field preferred; JD preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3–6 years in a law firm focusing on corporate law, commercial transactions and governance.
