Senior Legal Specialist

About the role

The Senior Legal Specialist will join Mala'a’s legal team in Muscat, providing expert legal advice and ensuring compliance across the organization’s operations. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the company’s mission to deliver digital credit and financial services while maintaining the highest legal and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day‑to‑day legal operations, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Provide legal consulting to internal stakeholders on regulatory, corporate, and operational matters.
• Ensure compliance with Omani laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare, review, and maintain legal documents, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks, offering proactive solutions to business challenges.

Required profile

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent); advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Significant experience in corporate legal affairs or a similar senior legal role.
• Familiarity with Omani legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high ethical standards.
