Senior Renewable Energy Technical & Commercial Manager

About the role

Marmol Integrated LLC is looking for an experienced engineer to lead both technical and commercial activities for utility‑scale renewable projects. The role covers solar PV, wind, hydraulic studies, geospatial surveys, drone inspections and digital‑engineering solutions, requiring close interaction with developers, EPC contractors and asset owners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial discussions with developers, IPPs, EPC contractors, consultants, O&M providers, utilities and asset owners.
• Review RFQs, specifications, methodologies, risks and deliverables.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, schedules, pricing and margin calculations.
• Manage projects from enquiry and award through execution to close‑out.
• Coordinate engineering, survey, drone, GIS, vendor and subcontractor teams.
• Develop new clients, projects, partnerships and technical services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, Renewable Energy or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility‑scale solar PV, wind or other renewable‑energy projects.
• Strong technical experience in solar PV and practical experience in at least two of: wind energy, hydraulic/drainage studies, topographic or GIS surveys, drone inspection, remote sensing, asset digitalisation.
• Proven experience in technical and commercial proposals, project costing, pricing, tendering, negotiations and project management.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to relocate to Muscat and travel regionally and internationally.

• Certifications: NABCEP PV System Inspector, Infrared Thermography Level I/II, IEC 62446‑1/2/3 knowledge, TÜV solar PV inspection/commissioning.
