Site Quality Engineer – Railway Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Site Quality Engineer to join Siemens Mobility’s railway project in the UAE. The role ensures that all on‑site activities meet the required quality, safety and regulatory standards while supporting installation and commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site work to guarantee compliance with quality standards, specifications and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as ITPs, checklists and reports.
• Conduct inspections and audits, identify non‑conformities and drive timely resolution of punch items.
• Review installations, material deliveries and test results for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Support installation and commissioning teams with method statements and quality requirements.
• Analyse quality performance metrics (KPIs, NCRs, audit results) and report findings.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients and internal teams on quality matters.
• Implement and maintain the QMS in line with ISO 9001 and support internal audits.
• Promote continuous improvement and deliver quality‑related training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in railway signalling or similar infrastructure projects.
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge and a valid ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification.
• Willingness to travel on‑site and a valid driving licence.
