Vice President – Investment Banking (Energy, Infrastructure & Utilities)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Vice President to join a leading investment banking platform in Muscat, focusing on Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities. The role will involve originating, executing and managing complex advisory transactions across the GCC and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of M&A, strategic advisory, capital raising and restructuring transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Manage financial analysis, valuation, financial modelling and preparation of transaction marketing materials.
• Coordinate due diligence, liaise with clients, legal counsel, accounting firms and other advisors, and ensure timely delivery of workstreams.
• Oversee transaction timetables and review the work of Associates and Analysts.
• Support senior bankers in client coverage, develop relationships across the energy value chain and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare client pitches, market updates, strategic reviews and sector‑specific presentations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a leading investment bank, corporate finance advisory or M&A advisory firm.
• Proven track record of executing M&A, strategic advisory and capital raising assignments.
• Experience covering energy, power, infrastructure or related industrial sectors is highly preferred.
