Account and Sales Manager - Drilling Waste Management & Fluids

About the role

A client is looking for a sales and account manager to manage key accounts and drive sales growth for drilling waste management and drilling fluid solutions in Oman's oil and gas sector. The role is based on site in Muscat, Oman, with a budget of under 2000 OMR. You will build relationships with operators, drilling contractors and EPCs to increase market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage existing client relationships and prospect new business in Oman's drilling sector
• Develop sales strategies for drilling waste disposal and drilling fluid services
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals
• Coordinate with operations so that client requirements are met
• Report sales performance and market trends to management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
• 1+ year of experience in sales or account management in the O&G drilling sector
• 2+ years in technical sales within Oil & Gas Drilling Waste Management (DWM) and/or Drilling Fluids (DF)
• Strong relationships with O&G operators and contractors in Oman
• Omani nationality preferred

Required skills

• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus
• Technical sales in drilling waste management and drilling fluids
