Account Development Specialist

About the role

Palomba General Trading LLC is looking for an Account Development Specialist to grow and nurture existing B2B customer relationships across GCC markets. The role focuses on understanding client needs, identifying upsell opportunities, and coordinating internal resources to deliver commercial value.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of B2B customer accounts.
• Build professional relationships with key customer contacts.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
• Coordinate quotations, samples, and product information.
• Maintain accurate account and opportunity data in the CRM.
• Prepare account‑development plans and regular pipeline reports.
• Collaborate with Product, Technical, Procurement and Logistics teams.
• Support customer meetings, business reviews and industry events.
• Contribute to commercial growth objectives and customer retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in account management, B2B sales or business development.
• Strong relationship‑management and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organisational and follow‑up skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
