Accountant & Cost Controller (Admin)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant and Cost Controller to handle daily accounting, financial control, purchasing, inventory, payroll and basic HR administration. The role requires a practical, hands‑on approach to monitor and control expenses across various business areas, including marine operations, fuel, transportation, kitchens, stores and general company costs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping, financial reporting and budgeting.
• Manage payroll processing and basic HR administration.
• Control purchasing costs, inventory levels and expense tracking for boats, marine operations, fuel, transport and hospitality units.
• Audit expenses, identify unnecessary spending and report findings to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong experience in accounting and cost control, preferably in hospitality, tourism, marine or multi‑operation companies.
• Good knowledge of Oman accounting practices, VAT and government portals is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication, analytical and numerical skills, organized and trustworthy.

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
