Accountant – Regional Office (Oman)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our regional office in Oman. The role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and collaborate with both local and regional finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting activities and financial transactions for the Oman office.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations.
• Process supplier payments and employee reimbursements in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Coordinate finance‑related matters with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.
• Provide documentation for audits as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or regional operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with bank reconciliation, AR/AP management, and month‑end closing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems.
