DQTEST LLC is seeking a dedicated Animal Caretaker and Cleaning Maintenance Assistant for its facility in Al Buraymi, Oman. The role blends daily animal husbandry with thorough cleaning and basic maintenance to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for both animals and staff. Candidates should have a genuine passion for animal welfare and a keen eye for cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and health monitoring.
• Perform regular cleaning of animal enclosures, common areas, and related facilities to high hygiene standards.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks to keep the facility in good repair.
• Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report concerns promptly.
• Handle animals calmly, compassionately, and safely.
• Manage waste disposal according to health and safety protocols.
• Maintain organized inventory of cleaning supplies, animal feed, and equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and animal welfare standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in animal care or professional cleaning/maintenance is highly desirable.
• Strong passion for working with animals and commitment to their welfare.
• Excellent attention to detail regarding cleanliness and animal health.
• Physically capable of manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Reliable, punctual, trustworthy team player with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a work environment.
