Architectural Engineer – Utility‑Scale Solar Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of buildings and ancillary facilities for a utility‑scale solar IPP project. You will work closely with civil, structural, electrical and mechanical teams to ensure integrated, code‑compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and coordinate architectural designs, layouts, drawings and specifications for O&M buildings, control rooms, administration facilities, warehouses, security structures and other ancillary units.
• Align architectural requirements with civil, structural, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and technical documentation for compliance with building codes, fire and life‑safety standards, and local regulations.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings and construction coordination activities.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and evaluate contractor submissions, RFIs, method statements and material proposals.
• Support the project team through testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring quality, schedule and contractual obligations are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, preferably on power plants, solar PV/IPP, industrial or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, building materials, finishes and construction methods.
• Familiarity with building, fire, life‑safety and accessibility regulations.
• Professional registration or certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit/BIM.
