Assistant Manager – Medical Delegate (Muscat, Oman)

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Medical Delegate will ethically detail Nestlé Infant Nutrition products across Muscat, providing accurate information to medical and paramedical professionals. The role supports mothers who are unable or choose not to breastfeed, ensuring compliance with WHO and local marketing codes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse market intelligence on infant nutrition, competitors, and healthcare providers.
• Segment prospects, define territories, schedule visits and optimise routes for effective coverage.
• Communicate Nestlé’s values and product benefits to healthcare professionals, differentiating from competitors.
• Manage requests from the healthcare system, including continuing medical education and equipment support.
• Maintain detailed records of field activities and outcomes for accurate reporting.
• Ensure strict adherence to WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast‑Milk Substitutes and Nestlé’s internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Background in clinical dietetics, nutrition, biochemistry or pharmacy.
• University degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Science or Medicine.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• 0‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Previous experience in the nutrition field is a plus.
