About the role
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Pastry Chef to support our Pastry Chef in creating high‑quality pastries, desserts, cakes and baked goods. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen, ensuring consistency, hygiene and attractive presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and measuring ingredients, baking, decorating and plating a variety of pastries and desserts.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization and food‑safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
- Monitor stock levels, store ingredients properly and report shortages.
- Support the development and testing of new products and follow daily production schedules.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery, hotel, restaurant or catering environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, stand for long periods and follow recipes accurately.
- Good organizational, time‑management and teamwork skills.
- Culinary or pastry certification is an advantage.
Required skills
- Knowledge of pastry and baking techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
