Audit Supervisor (FY27) – Oman

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements for medium and large clients in Oman, ensuring high‑quality delivery in line with KPMG methodologies. The role involves planning, executing, and finalising audits while managing a team of assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise audit engagements from start to finish.
• Perform fieldwork and allocate tasks to audit assistants.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Prepare financial statements, transmittal letters and other deliverables.
• Keep managers and partners informed of progress and issues.
• Obtain partner and manager reviews and complete documentation.
• Analyse work‑in‑progress costs and prepare fee note requisitions.
• Maintain client relationships and oversee stock counts.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Accounting or equivalent.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA or CPA).
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, including at least 2 years post‑qualification.
• Experience with clients in real estate, construction, oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
