Business Analyst – Financial Market Infrastructure (AI‑enabled)

About the role

We are building a regulated financial market infrastructure in Oman, slated to launch in 2027. As a Business Analyst you will sit at the engine room of the programme, turning high‑level designs into clear, standardized documentation and leveraging AI to accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, structure and maintain delivery artefacts such as process maps, workflow diagrams, design documents, decision logs, operational procedures, runbook drafts, training materials and regulatory papers.
• Ensure documentation consistency across the programme by applying common templates, terminology, structure and version control.
• Use the Claude AI tool effectively: prompt, iterate and refine outputs, treating AI drafts as starting points.
• Identify AI‑driven efficiencies, e.g., generating test plans from design documents or training material from runbooks.
• Map current‑state and target‑state processes in collaboration with product owners and operations leads.
• Maintain the programme RAID log and support the Project Manager with plan maintenance, dependency tracking and status reporting.
• Generate test artefacts (test plans, cases, data requirements, traceability matrices) from upstream designs.
• Absorb domain knowledge about central securities depositories, settlement, registry maintenance, corporate actions and regulator requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years experience as a business analyst, process analyst or in a documentation‑heavy role, preferably in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Strong ability to translate verbal discussions into clear, structured written output.
• Fast learner with the capacity to quickly master new domain concepts.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Process‑mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart or Miro.
• Proficiency with the Claude AI productivity tool.
