Business Head – FMCG Distribution

About the role

The Business Head will lead a portfolio of FMCG brands for a leading Omani distributor, holding full commercial and P&L responsibility. The role combines strategic partnership development with hands‑on execution across modern trade, traditional trade, wholesale and emerging channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own commercial and financial performance of the assigned brand portfolio, driving revenue, profit and market‑share growth.
• Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with international and regional principals, aligning on joint growth plans.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the portfolio through new brands, categories and channel development.
• Lead multi‑channel commercial execution across modern trade, traditional trade, wholesale and other relevant channels.
• Drive category growth via distribution expansion, pricing strategy, promotional effectiveness and customer‑specific commercial tactics.
• Oversee forecasting, demand planning, inventory management and working‑capital discipline.
• Negotiate annual business plans, commercial agreements and investment priorities with principals and key customers.
• Build and develop high‑performing commercial teams, fostering a culture of accountability and results.

Required profile

• 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within a leading FMCG distributor or multinational FMCG business.
• Proven success managing principal relationships and translating joint business plans into profitable growth.
• Strong P&L ownership with a track record of improving revenue, margins and ROI.
• Experience leading multi‑channel commercial operations across the GCC (highly preferred).
• Strategic thinker who combines disciplined execution with effective people leadership.
