About the role
The Cementing Operator is responsible for handling cementing operations on site, ensuring proper preparation, mixing, and placement of cement slurry. This role requires a solid understanding of cementing equipment and processes, supporting safe and efficient operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and manage cement slurry and rubber wiper plugs.
- Operate cutting/loading pods and batch mixers.
- Handle cementing head and chemical mixing procedures.
- Perform rigging up and rigging down of cementing equipment.
- Carry out repair and maintenance of cementing tools and pumps.
Required profile
- Omani nationality.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in cementing operations.
- Basic knowledge of cement, cement slurry, and related equipment.
- Ability to follow safety and operational guidelines.
