Civil Inspector

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to lead inspection activities on construction projects. The role involves performing complex civil and structural tests, reviewing contractor submissions, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with clients and contractors to verify project requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports, site records, and review material/method statements for conformity.
• Conduct civil and structural tests such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, concrete slump, air entrainment, compression, surveying, bolt torque, and concrete coring.
• Inspect civil materials delivered on site, report on quantity and technical compliance, and sign off material inspection requests.
• Monitor equipment alignment, balancing operations, and overall construction workmanship.
• Ensure quality control procedures are applied and continuously improved.
• Maintain complete documentation and records of all inspections.
• Communicate site progress regularly and coordinate hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant inspection experience.
• Experience in GCC projects preferred.
• Strong ability to interact with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of construction quality control and supervision processes.
