Civil Project Engineer

About the role

Tathmeer Properties is seeking experienced Civil Project Engineers to lead the planning, design and execution of civil works for residential and commercial developments in Muscat. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves close collaboration with consultants, contractors and internal teams to deliver projects that meet quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site development activities and inspect construction progress.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and project teams to ensure alignment with schedules.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during implementation.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation.
• Support stormwater management and related infrastructure solutions.
• Contribute to value engineering, cost optimisation and continuous improvement of construction processes.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in residential and commercial building projects.
• Demonstrated GCC project experience; Oman experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation and cost control.
• Proven ability to plan projects and manage construction schedules.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Capability to manage site activities and ensure compliance with quality and timeline requirements.
