Cold-room and Refrigeration Technician (Junior/Senior)

About the role

We are looking for both junior and senior technicians to maintain and repair cold rooms, freezer rooms, blast chillers, ice machines, compressors, and commercial refrigeration systems for our client in Muscat.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on cold‑room and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.
• Perform refrigerant charging, leak detection, vacuuming, pressure testing, and brazing.
• Troubleshoot thermostats, temperature controllers, sensors, expansion valves, solenoid valves, and defrost systems.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and complete repairs within required timeframes.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI, or trade certificate in Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Junior: 2–4 years of relevant experience; Senior: 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, refrigerant charging, brazing, leak testing and electrical troubleshooting.
• Preferred background in catering, food production, hospitality, cold‑storage or facilities‑management.
