Credit Analyst – Mid Market

About the role

The Mid‑Market Credit Analyst evaluates borrowers’ financial health and repayment capacity. You will analyse past financial statements, credit history and cash‑flow projections to support lending decisions and ensure timely deal execution.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary and detailed analysis of financial statements, projections and business models at deal initiation.
• Prepare and obtain ITS approvals for new and existing credit requests.
• Assess credit requests—including new, changed, refinancing and annual reviews—and provide risk‑based recommendations.
• Present findings and repayment assessments to senior managers.
• Develop spreadsheet models to support credit analysis.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of bank lending protocols and monitor overdue or missing documentation.
• Reconcile credit files, identify discrepancies and support relationship managers in portfolio management.
• Assist the team with MIS reporting and step in for absent ARM/RM as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or a comparable financial sector.
