Delivery Manager – Airport Projects

About the role

The On‑Site Delivery Manager will lead the end‑to‑end coordination and execution of the Self‑Service Check‑in Kiosk (SSK) and Self Baggage Drop (SBD) projects at Muscat International Airport, supporting the rollout to Salalah. The role ensures timely delivery, integration, testing and go‑live in line with the project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact on‑site between Oman Air, vendors, airport authorities and third parties.
• Coordinate daily activities across all workstreams – kiosks, SBD, BHS, network, power and civil works – ensuring design, delivery and installation alignment.
• Validate site readiness (power, data, space, civil works) before equipment arrival and oversee installation of kiosks and SBD units at MCT and SLL.
• Manage on‑site vendors (e.g., Elenium) and liaise with airport operators, BHS providers, IT/network teams and security teams, escalating delays and risks.
• Oversee integration of the SSK application with Sabre DCS, including check‑in flows, baggage tagging, ancillary services and interface testing.
• Lead testing activities – end‑to‑end check‑in and baggage drop scenarios, Sabre DCS transaction validation, FAT, SAT and combined UAT – and confirm readiness for operational acceptance.
• Coordinate go‑live at Muscat (target 7 Dec 2026) and Salalah (target 14 Dec 2026) and provide hyper‑care support during the initial period.
• Maintain daily/weekly status reporting, risk and issue logs, installation trackers and escalation to the project steering team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑site project coordination for airport or aviation technology deployments.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with airlines, airport operators and multiple technical teams.
• Hands‑on experience with installation readiness, civil works, power and network infrastructure in an airport environment.
• Experience driving integration projects with airline reservation systems such as Sabre DCS.
• Ability to lead testing phases (FAT, SAT, UAT) and manage go‑live and hyper‑care activities.
